How to get started
1. Download BoT app
Get the latest app version here.
2. Create an account
Note: If you have an account or bought from the BoT Shop, skip to step 3.
- Tap Let’s Get Started > Create an account.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to verify your email or phone number.
- Once registration is complete, return to the BoT app.
3. Log in
Tap Let’s Get Started > Login.
Note: If you don't see the buttons, try closing the current view to go back.
4. Set up payment method
Add your card details before connecting the BoT device: Tap the Person icon (bottom-left) > Payment Information.
Important card info:

Credit cards only (Discover accepted)

US user
Credit or Debit (No Prepaid or Discover)
5. Connect BoT device
The person paying for the subscription must pair the BoT device:
- Tap + on the home screen.
- Tap Connect your BoT Talk.
- Scan the BoT ID or enter it manually.
- Confirm the BoT ID is correct, then tap Monitor this BoT.
Note: If the LED spins white, completing these steps will stop it.

Location of BoT ID

- "device and account regions do not match": Check for typos (e.g., S vs 5). BoT only works in the country of purchase (US device = US only).
6. Charge your BoT device
Plug into a wall outlet using a USB Type-C cable. To help the BoT device find its first location, take it outside for a clear signal.

Take it outside!
Subscription starts automatically once the BoT device find its first location. Your BoT is ready now!
