Hear their little voice and know they're okay. Your child can easily send a Talk (”voice message”) from their BoT Talk device directly to your phone.
How your child sends a Talk
- Press and hold the large button on the center of the BoT Talk.
- The LED light will turn red. While holding the button, they can speak their Talk into the device.
- Release the button when they're finished recording.
- The LED light will spin white as the Talk is sent automatically.
You'll receive a push notification on your phone when the Talk arrives. You can then listen to it in the app's "Talk" room.
A Few Things to Know
- Recording time: Talks can be between 1 and 40 seconds long.
- Delivery time: Talks are sent along with location updates, so they are not always instant.
- Network Connection: Like a cellphone, the device's performance relies on a stable cellular connection.
- Talk history: All Talks are saved in the app for one month and can be replayed as often as you like.
