A familiar voice is just a tap away. Send a Talk (”voice message”) from your phone to your child's BoT Talk device and choose to have it play a sound or arrive silently.
How to send a Talk
- In the app, tap on your child's map card, then select the "Talk" tab.
- Press and hold the microphone icon to start recording your Talk.
- Release the icon when you're finished.
- Before sending, you can choose a ringtone option:
- OFF (Silent): Best for when your child is in school. The BoT Talk device's light will flash to show a new Talk has arrived.
- Bell Sound: Plays a gentle bell sound once.
- Play Your Voice Message : Plays your voice Talk out loud immediately upon arrival.
- Tap the send arrow to send your Talk.
📷 The LED light on your child's BoT Talk device will flash white to let them know they have a new Talk. You'll see a "Read" receipt in the app once they've listened to it.
📷 The BoT Talk display model shows the sender's icon. (For use in Japan only).
