Should I Avoid Using a Car Charger?

Important: Warranty policy

Car power supply is unstable. Even with standard adapters (e.g., ISO7637-2), charging may cause malfunctions. Damage from car chargers is not covered under warranty.

If you must charge in a car

  • Vehicle compatibility: BoT works with 12V/24V vehicles. Use a 5V/1A.
  • Avoid rapid chargers: Do not use adapters that automatically adjust voltage. The BoT protection circuit will stop the power.
  • Never leave it in a hot car: High temperatures (especially in summer) can permanently damage the battery.
  • Placement: Keep the device near a window or on the dashboard to improve GPS and Wi-Fi signals.

Operating environment

  • Temperature: 5°C to 35°C (41°F to 95°F)
  • Humidity: 20% to 80%

Storage environment

  • Temperature: -10°C to 50°C (14°F to 122°F)
  • Humidity: 10% to 90%

For the best results, always use a standard AC wall outlet.
