This guide explains how to invite family members and manage who can see your child's location.
Please note: Only the Account Owner (BoT owner) can invite and remove family members. The Account Owner is the person responsible for the subscription payments.
How to invite a family member to monitor
The person who wants to join must send a request from their phone.
- On their phone, they need to download the BoT app and create their own account.
- In the app, they tap the "+" button, then "Connect your BoT Talk".
- They scan the BoT ID on the side of your child's device.
- A request will be sent to you (the owner) for approval.
How to approve a request (for the Owner)
You'll receive an email and an in-app notification for the request.
- In the app, tap the "︙" icon on your child's map card.
- Tap "Guardians".
- You will see the pending request. After confirming the applicant is someone you trust, tap “Approve”.
How to remove a Guardian (for the Owner)
You can remove someone's access at any time.
- Follow the steps above to go to the "Guardians" list.
- Tap "Delete" next to the person you wish to remove.
