How to Extend Battery Life

Try these simple tips to make your BoT Talk battery last longer.

1. Use Battery Saver Mode

This is the best way to save power. It updates the location about every 3 minutes.

How to enable Battery Saver Mode:

  1. Tap the "︙" icon on the map.
  2. Tap "Mode".
  3. Select "Battery Saver Mode" and tap "OK".

2. Keep the device still when not in use

BoT Talk saves power by sleeping when it is perfectly still. Keep it on a stable surface like a table when your child is home.

Note on battery lifespan

Batteries naturally lose capacity over time. We recommend replacing the device after about 1.5 to 2 years of use.
