Can multiple family members watch over a child together?

One BoT device can be monitored by the entire family. By connecting the BoT to the smartphones of the guardians, you can monitor your child. There is no additional charge regardless of how many guardians in your family are monitoring.

If each sibling has their own BoT, you can monitor them simultaneously within the app.

*This is only possible if the owner (contractor) permits it.

The owner, who pays the monthly fee should first perform "Connect BoT to your smartphone". After that, family members should follow the method below to request monitoring.

 

Procedure to Connect the Smartphone of the Person Who Wants to Participate in Monitoring with the BoT

If you are using BoT for the first time, you will need to download the BoT app. If you do not have an account, please create a new account.

  1. Open the app and log in with your registered email address and password
  2. Tap the central "+" at the bottom of the screen
  3. Tap "Connect your BoT Talk"
  4. Hold the camera over the ID of the BoT you want to monitor (manual input is also possible)
  5. After confirming that the displayed BoT ID is correct, tap "Link this BoT"
  6. A monitoring request will be sent to the owner. Please wait until the owner approves the monitoring.

 

Procedure for the Owner to Approve Monitoring Requests

Make sure to confirm that the applicant is a family member or an acquaintance before executing the approval.

When a monitoring request is submitted by someone who wants to participate in monitoring, an email with the subject "Monitoring Request" will be sent to your registered email address. If you approve, please access the URL provided in the email.

You can also approve or reject the request from within the app.

  1. Tap the "︙" on the map card of the relevant BoT
  2. Tap "Guardians"
  3. Approve the request

 

Removing Monitoring Permissions

If you want to revoke the monitoring permissions of someone who is currently monitoring, please delete the registration using the following method. Only the owner can perform the deletion.

  1. Tap the "︙" on the map card of the relevant BoT
  2. Tap "Guardians"
  3. Tap "Delete" next to the relevant person
