Talks on BoT Talk are not marked as read

When a child plays back a BoT Talk, the "read" indicator appears on the smartphone's talk room screen. However, if the conversation in the talk room isn't marked as read, please check the following:

 

The BoT device's LED is spinning white

When the LED is spinning white, the BoT Talk is in communication and cannot be operated. Please wait until the communication is complete. Once completed, "read" will be displayed. If the white LED continues to spin, there may be issues with the signal environment or the device itself. If you're indoors, try moving closer to a window or taking the device outside and observe.

Communication is complete but not marked as read

If the information isn't updating on the smartphone side, it may not be marked as read. Please try deleting and reinstalling the app.

Reinstalling the app doesn't resolve the issue

Please try the following:

  • Check the smartphone's signal environment
  • Restart the smartphone
  • Remove and reinsert the smartphone's SIM card

If the issue persists after trying these steps, please contact our support center and specify that you have attempted the above measures.
